How it Works

If you were going to lay on a fallen tree and take a nap would you lay on your stomach or your back? The answer to this question is why the Treesuit allows you to use the tree for comfort, concealment, shelter, warmth, and to diminish the force of gravity. The fact is, the front of your body perfectly fits the tree and offers the same support that a pillow between the legs does while sleeping. When the Treesuit is installed you can truly relax and even take a nap. Safety with the Treesuit is not a personal choice because the use of our safety belt is integrated into the entire process and is always installed.

The Treesuit consists of 3 major parts.

#1 The safety belt is worn above the waist and is installed at ground level. While hooking the Treesuit up it keeps your body hugged to the tree keeping both hands free. There is no physical strain whatsoever.

#2 The rigid seat keeps the body from riding against the tree and the straps off the thighs. It is made from a patented material making it lighter and stronger. It does flex slightly with the body and allows for hours of comfort. Due to the design there is no loss of circulation to the legs. The seat is totally self leveling and falls into place on it's own when you sit or stand. Both sitting and standing are hands free operations.

#3 The support strap passes through the seat and secures it to the tree. The strap easily adjusts to different diameter trees as well as allowing for adjustments for personal preferences. An example of this is making the strap longer for more shooting mobility on a bigger tree. It can be set an infinite amount of ways.

There are several options for what to use to get up the tree. You may use screw in or strap-on treesteps, climbing sticks, tree spikes (Sportclimbers) or our new climbing steps. When you get to the desired level that you are going to hunt you will need from 2 to 4 steps at the top to move and rest your feet on or the top of a climbing stick.

Many Treesuit users previously used multiple hang-on stands. With the Treesuit you can use the same system and set up multiple trees with treesteps. This eliminates lugging a treestand up the tree and having everybody see the hanging treestand not to mention that you only need a single Treesuit. The process of creating a stand site using treesteps takes between 5-10 minutes with a cordless drill instead of 30-45 minutes to hang a platform and get it secure.

Most hunters also have a mobile system to use their Treesuit. This could consist of a portable set of climbing sticks or strap-on steps. The new climbing system will make the Treesuit the ultimate system for hunters on the move.
